Finding Information on the Web

Answer each of the following, which you may find on pp. 362--363 of the
textbook:
- Find It Online: 17
- Find It Online: 19
- Find It Online: 21
- Find It Online: 23
- Find It Online: 31
Your answers will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Proper spelling and grammar.
- For ``Find It Online'' problems, correct answer and citation of
online source(s). Describe and give examples where appropriate and/or
illustrative.
- For ``Take A Stand'' problems, solid, thoughtful support of your
position with citation of a few online sources which appropriately
inform your position.
Use Microsoft Word or another word processor to write your answers and
print a copy. Hand in the printed copy at the beginning of class on the
22nd. (You may also e-mail it to kelliher AT DOMAIN goucher.edu, but
only to that address, before the beginning of class, but I prefer that you
hand in hard-copy. If you e-mail it, it must be a Microsoft Word
document or in Rich Text Format). A 10% penalty will be applied for each
day the assignment is late. The weekend counts as one day. After three
days I will no longer accept assignments.
