Setting Up NoMachine
Downloading and Installing NoMachine Software
You should only have to do this once, unless you have multiple personal
computers that you use.
Go
to NoMachine
Enterprise Client, download the NoMachine Enterprise Client version
appropriate to your
computer, and then install the software.
Creating a Connection to Phoenix
You should only have to do this once, unless you switch computers.
See Creating a Connection to Phoenix.
Opening a Virtual Desktop on Phoenix
You'll do this each time you log in to phoenix. You have to create a
connection to phoenix before you can open a virtual desktop.
See Opening a Virtual Desktop on Phoenix.
Ignore Step 7, which is for the DMC 105 class. Instead, to change your
password once you've logged-in to the desktop, open
System --> Preferences --> Personal --> Password
To logout-out, which is preferable to closing NoMachine or shutting your
laptop's lid, open
System --> Log Out
