Frontpage 1
CS 102
Feb. 26, 1999
In this lab, you'll learn how to use FrontPage to create a web site on a
hard drive. You'll create a few web pages, name them, and insert
documents into them which were created from other applications. You'll
also learn how to delete a web page.
Start lesson 2 in the FrontPage text. A few notes:
- Before starting, create a folder named frontpage in your
personal folder on the G: drive.
- In step 3 on page 25, you will need to specify a file location for
the new web and not a server. The file location you should specify should
be the path to the folder you just created. For me, the path would be
g:\kelliher\frontpage
The path you specify will be similar, but not the same. (What will differ?)
- At several points in the lesson, you are asked to access files on the
Frontpage CD ROM. If you brought the CD with you, use it. Otherwise, all
the files are on the S: in the
FrontPage97 CD
folder.
