Setting Things up for DMC 105
The actual course content is on
Canvas.
Downloading and Installing NoMachine Software
You should only have to do this once, unless you have multiple personal
computers that you use.
Go
to NoMachine
Enterprise Client, download the NoMachine Enterprise Client version
appropriate to your
computer, and then install the software. Be sure to download the
NoMachine Enterprise Client software. The other software on the website
you'll be taken to only works for 30 days.
Creating a Connection to Phoenix
Generally, should only have to do this once. If you switch computers, or
your computer gets a case of the "hiccups," you may have to do this again.
If you have a newer version of the NoMachine client (downloaded
December, 2020 or later), see Creating a

Opening a Virtual Desktop on Phoenix
You'll do this each time you log in to phoenix. You have to create a
connection to phoenix before you can open a virtual desktop. The following
demonstrations cover this step and the next step, account set up for DMC 105.
