Dia

Dia is a general purpose drawing tool that includes special objects useful for producing specific types of diagrams, such as flowchart, UML and Entity-Relationship diagrams.

The instructions below will guide you through installing Dia. Dia is fairly simple to use; documentation may be found here.

Installing Dia

The following instructions pertain to Microsoft Windows installations.
  1. Run the Dia setup program. You may download the program from here.

    You may accept all the defaults, but it is not necessary to install the Translations component:
